The birth of a baby is always cause for celebration, particularly when the newborn ushers in a 5th family generation. From a great-great grandmother of 98, to a 6 month old baby, in 2011 we all gathered and celebrated life. Pam was a perfect fit for us, evidenced by her remarkable photos. Not only do they beautifully document our five generations, they capture the nuances that make the people on paper a real-life family. Several years later, I am all the more appreciative of Pam’s creative professionalism. In 2013, my ‘too-young-to die’ parents were both diagnosed with advanced-stage cancer and gone within months. Our remaining family is ever so grateful to have those healthier 2011 memories preserved in portraits. When I shared the sad news with Pam, she went to extraordinary lengths to locate ‘out-takes’ and send them along to me. Words cannot express my gratitude, not only for the joy of having these new unseen photos, but for the rarely captured expressions and gestures Pam achieved. I had actually second-guessed myself back in 2011 when planning the 5 generation photography session, wondering if it was worth the time and expenditure.
I could never have imagined how priceless the images would become.

My family began our journey with Pam as our little ones started to grow and new precious ones were born. Throughout my maternity and newborn sessions, Pam and her megastar assistant Jennifer made me feel totally secure and comfortable during extremely vulnerable times. We’ve continued our traditional Christmas card session annually and we not only have the best time, we experience an extremely thorough and satisfying photo shoot. Pam takes an idea and makes it ten times better and more beautiful. We have enjoyed working with Pam immensely and can’t wait to continue the fun!

The maternity portraits were waiting for us when we got back from the hospital with our little Luc—it was fun to have such a vivid reminder of where Luc had been not long before! The images are absolutely beautiful, and I will treasure them always. I can’t wait until Luc is old enough and he can realize just how much he was loved even before he was born. Thank you so much.

We have had the pleasure of having Patricia’s work gracing our home since our family first began to form and grow. All four of our children are captured at different stages in their lives as seen through Patricia’s artistic eye. These are moments in time for my husband and me to cherish and to pass on to our children for their own memories as they build their families. How can we thank you enough for your wonderful gift of the photos of Nathaniel! Your portraits of him will be cherished and enjoyed for many, many years. We especially love the two close-up shots with his small head resting in Bob’s hands, one as he gazes responsively towards Daddy, and the other as he yawns.
